Pleasant is featured in John Doe and Tom De Savia’s Under The Big Black Sun: A Personal History Of LA Punk. Pleasant wrote Chapter 5, “A Nonstop Crazy Party”. The book features several other authors, all LA punk veterans, including Jack Grisham of T.S.O.L, Jane Wiedlin and Charlotte Caffey of The Go-Go’s, Exene Cervenka , Mike Watt and Robert “El Vez” Lopez. Disgraceland is a history of the famous Hollywood punk house Pleasant shared with Belinda Carlisle of The Go-Go’s, Kid Congo of The Gun Club and Cramps, and many more, including co-writer Iris Berry.
The third book, Walking The Tarot Path is an reference book for Tarot readers of all levels, written in collaboration with her Divination Nation partner Crystal Ravenwolf.
